We collect information in a few ways, depending on how you interact with us.
Information you give us
- Contact details — your name, company, email, phone, and ASN when you contact us, request transit or peering, or fill out a form.
- Account & service details — information needed to provision and support your services, such as prefixes, technical contacts, and configuration preferences.
- Communications — the content of emails, tickets, and messages you send us.
Information collected automatically
- Log & device data — IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring pages, and timestamps when you visit our website.
- Cookies & similar technologies — small identifiers used to keep the site working and understand how it’s used. See Cookies & tracking.
Network & technical data
To operate the services, our systems necessarily process technical data such as IP addresses, routing announcements, DNS queries, and traffic metadata. This is described in more detail in Network, abuse & security data.
How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, provision, maintain, and support our infrastructure services.
- Route traffic, resolve DNS, manage IP space, and keep the network secure and available.
- Respond to your enquiries, quotes, and support requests.
- Detect, investigate, and prevent abuse, fraud, attacks, and security incidents.
- Operate, analyze, and improve our website and services.
- Send service and administrative messages (for example, maintenance or incident notices).
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements and acceptable-use policies.
Cookies & similar technologies
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to function correctly and to help us understand usage. Essential cookies are required for the site to work; analytics cookies, if used, help us measure traffic and improve the experience.

Network, abuse & security data
Because we operate internet infrastructure, our systems process technical data as a normal part of delivering the services:
- Routing & traffic data — IP addresses, BGP announcements, NetFlow/traffic metadata, and DNS queries used to route, troubleshoot, and protect the network.
- Security & abuse handling — we monitor for and mitigate attacks (including DDoS), and we investigate reports sent to abuse@asndnswork.com. This may involve reviewing logs and traffic associated with the reported activity.
- Operational logs — system and access logs that help us keep services reliable and secure.
We aim to retain this technical data only as long as needed for operations, security, and legal requirements. We don’t use the contents of customer traffic for advertising.
Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods vary by data type and purpose — for example, billing records are kept longer than transient network logs. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
Data security
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse, including access controls, encryption in transit where appropriate, and monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and to respond promptly to incidents.
International data transfers
ASNDNS is based in the United States, and we operate infrastructure in multiple locations. If you access our services from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries where we or our service providers operate. We take steps to protect information consistent with this policy and applicable law.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Request deletion of your information.
- Opt out of certain processing, where applicable.

California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) gives you specific rights regarding your personal information.
Your rights
- Right to know — the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
- Right to delete — request deletion of personal information we collected from you, subject to exceptions.
- Right to correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Right to opt out — of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CPRA.
- Right to limit — the use of sensitive personal information (we do not use sensitive personal information for purposes that require this option).
- Right to non-discrimination — we won’t discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
How to exercise them
Submit a request to privacy@asndnswork.com. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf; we may ask for proof of authorization and verification of identity. We will respond within the timeframes required by law.
Do Not Track & Global Privacy Control
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. There is no common industry standard for DNT, so our site does not currently respond to DNT signals. Where required by law, we honor recognized opt-out preference signals such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC).
Children’s privacy
Our services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Third-party links
Our website may link to third-party sites or services we don’t control. This policy doesn’t apply to those sites, and we’re not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Please review their policies before providing information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we’ll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of our services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
